Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 3, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies StockWatch.report uses and why. We keep this deliberately short, because we deliberately keep our use of cookies to a minimum.

1. What Cookies We Use

StockWatch.report uses exactly one cookie: a session authentication cookie, set when you sign in, that keeps you logged in as you move between pages. This cookie is strictly necessary for the Service to function — without it, you would be signed out on every page load — and it does not track you across other websites.

2. What We Don't Use

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking cookies of any kind. We do not share cookie data with advertising networks, and we do not build cross-site profiles of visitors.

Your light/dark theme preference is stored in your browser's local storage, not a cookie — it never leaves your device and isn't sent to our servers.

3. Because We Only Use Strictly Necessary Cookies

Because our one cookie is strictly necessary for signing in and is not used for tracking, advertising, or analytics, we do not display a cookie-consent banner. If we ever introduce analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and add an appropriate consent mechanism before doing so.

4. Managing Cookies

Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings, including blocking or deleting them. Because our only cookie is required to keep you signed in, blocking it will prevent you from staying logged in to your account, but the public pages of the Service will continue to work normally.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy if the cookies we use change. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
